Infinitus

From Willow: Infinitus Ministries is operating at reduced capacity until further notice.

Hello everyone. Too often, I overestimate my capacity, and I put myself under unrealistic expectations. In an ideal world, I would love to do more to further the vision of Infinitus Ministries.  At the same time, this has been a one-person operation, a self-funded one at that, and based on the metrics, much of the work has been serving very few people while I have stretched myself too thin. It is important for me not to burn myself out again, and realistically, I am still working towards my diploma of divinity (which is a three-year program if taken full-time, but it has been almost six years since I started), and yet I still feel the need for even further training. In addition, lately I feel called to start creating art again after many years on hiatus. 

The unrealistic expectations, perfectionism, and a mounting stack of unfinished tasks at the end of each day have led to this vicious cycle that eats away at mental and spiritual health. I realized I need to hit the brakes, slow down, and take stock of my capacity and time availability.

As such, until further notice, Infinitus Ministries will operate at reduced capacity effective immediately.

What is being suspended:

• All in-person gatherings (with possible exceptions of ad hoc meetups)

• Offbeat Expedition, the DIY micro-worship experience

• Membership program, both Global and Base Community

• Virtual gathering space (Matrix)

What will remain in operation:

• The Substack newsletter, Sub Arboribus - This will be where all the energy will be focused for the time being.

• One-on-one spiritual and pastoral support via encrypted email, Signal, or SimpleX Chat

• Our support of the January 9, 2027 community screening of 1946.

The membership programs and future in-person gatherings will only launch when we have a sizeable interest from the community.

We are Infinitus Ministries, a Christian church near the city of Portland, Oregon, USA. We have noted that quite a lot of people come to our websites from all parts of the People's Republic of China, so we did some research as to why. We are NOT in any way related to the "Infinitus (China) Ltd.," a nutritional supplement manufacturer in Guangzhou, which is a subsidiary of the Lee Kum Kee Group. That company does not currently operate in the United States, and its sole trademark registration as it pertains to its products was officially abandoned in 2019, according to the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO) records.
